I use “Things” as my primary life and task manager.   I like to track when I have made a phone call to someone and also track the “waiting for” if I’m waiting for a return call.

As I explain in this video, I use the “duplicate” feature in Things to create a duplicate task and change the tag and date of that task for follow up.
